COVID-19: City of Lloydminster to Follow Saskatchewan Plan for Phased Reopening

Lloydminster, AB/SK — The City of Lloydminster will align its COVID-19 response with the phased Reopening plan put forth by the Government of Saskatchewan.

On Thursday, April 23, 2020, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe shared details of the government’s plan to gradually lift restrictions on businesses and services.

Phases 1 and 2, as they apply for both the Alberta and Saskatchewan portions of Lloydminster, are summarized below.

Phase 1

  • May 4
    Allowable reopening of previously restricted medical services, including dentistry, optometry and chiropractic services. View the full list.
  • May 15
    Allowable reopening of golf courses, including the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre, conditions permitting.
  • June 1
    Allowable reopening of campgrounds, including Weaver Park Campground, conditions permitting.
