Driving range, golf course set to open for the 2023 season

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre is excited to announce the opening of its driving range on Friday, April 28, and the 18-hole championship golf course on Saturday, April 29, for the 2023 season. 

The ultimate golf experience awaits golfers of all levels, with the added convenience of a PGA of Canada teaching facility and practice green.

“We're excited to welcome golfers back to the Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre as we begin our 2023 season. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that our facility is well-maintained and equipped to provide the ultimate golf experience to our guests,” says Joël Turcotte, Director, Recreation & Cultural Services. “With the opening of our driving range and championship golf course, we look forward to delivering exceptional service and are proud to continue to serve as a top destination for golf enthusiasts in Western Canada.”

The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre is home to one of the top golf courses in Saskatchewan. The course has hosted prestigious tournaments such as the Saskatchewan Amateur and PGA of Saskatchewan Championship. The course caters to both beginner and seasoned golfers with four sets of tee boxes ranging from 5,700 yards to 7,000 yards.

The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre (LGCC) is home to one of the top golf courses in Saskatchewan, offering an 18-hole public golf course that appeals to avid golfers and beginners alike by offering four sets of tee boxes ranging from 5,700 yards to 7,000 yards. The facility also features a driving range and practice facilities. 

The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre is also home to Lloydminster’s only curling rink, boasting eight sheets of ice that regularly hosts regional bonspiels. The facility is also home to Lloydminster’s only squash and racquetball courts.
