Lloydminster golf course opens for 2024 season

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre is thrilled to announce the commencement of its 2024 golf season, ushering in golfing excitement following the conclusion of winter. With the course now open for play, enthusiasts and duffers are invited to indulge in the beauty of the greens and partake in an array of memorable experiences.

Tee times are available daily, starting at 9 a.m., with earlier timeslots opening as the season progresses. The last 9-hole tee time is 6 p.m. Golfers can secure their spot on the course by booking online through LGCC.ca, contacting the Pro Shop directly at 306-825-5494 or visiting in person.

“The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre invites golfers of all levels to join in the excitement of the 2024 season, promising camaraderie, competition and a new culinary experience,” says Jordan Newton, Senior Manager of Parks and Green Spaces.

Food and Beverage

In addition to the golfing experiences, golf course staff are excited to introduce The Green Glacier Eatery as the new food and beverage provider at the Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre. Formerly known as Sprouts Restaurant in Lloydminster, this establishment brings a fresh culinary perspective to the course. Patrons can expect a soft opening in the coming days, with full kitchen operations slated to commence in May.

The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre (LGCC) is home to a variety of seasonal recreation opportunities. As one of the top golf facilities in Saskatchewan, it offers an 18-hole par 72 public golf course that can play from 5,722 yards up to 7,011 yards with driving range and practice facilities. Enjoy the squash and racquetball courts and make use of the eight sheets of curling ice and many bonspiels from October through March.
